Adam is a senior from Seattle studying data science, political science, and Russian at American University. He originally focused on electoral politics and quantitative political research in college but refocused his energy on AI policy when he began to consider what a future without serious legislation on AI would look like. He felt an imperative to work to reshape that future. Based in DC, he now serves as the Vice President of Policy at Encode and centers his efforts on legislative advocacy and government engagement. He can be found milling about the halls of Congress, hosting his radio show at American University, or reading British historical fiction.
